Style Diary of Chase turning 6

I can’t believe my baby is turning 6! I know that time flies when you’re having fun, but it’s really hard for me to embrace the change.

There are so many wonderful things I love about you, Chase. But here are a few:
1. First and foremost, I love how much you love me; you are for sure a mama’s boy!
2. Your sense of humor! Your random thoughts and outbursts keep us laughing everyday. I especially love when you call me your wife; “You’re not my motha, you’re my wife!”
3. I love how you’re not a pleaser. Hear me out — you can be rough around the edges, and sometimes you can be mean to your big bro, but I know it’s only because you love his attention.
4. You respect your Daddy so much. I love that you look up to him as your hero.
5. I love when I’m listening to my favorite tunes (Salsa, of course!) and you come up behind me to dance.
6. You’re respectful to your peers, you’re sensitive when you need to be
7. You a great listener, and you understand when it’s “no” it’s “no.”
8. I love that you love the Fast & the Furious franchise, and that you idolize Toretto
9. You’re a hard worker. I’m so proud of you for trying your best with the dual language kindergarten class you joined this past year. I know this was a challenge at first, but now you can speak, read, and write in Spanish!
I could keep going…but the main takeaway is this: you will always be my baby and we love you sooooo much!

Chase’s Outfit

My Style

As you’ve probably noticed, I have been really loving the blue stripped shirt trend. You can wear this with skirts or jeans; heels or sneakers. It’s such a versatile shirt. It’s a great, easy basic, and I find it romantic. Check out my Instagram to see all my blue stripped combos: I mixed it with sneakers and wedges; this time, I paired it with a pair of Valentino heels. I really wanted to match my baby for his birthday.
