Family Fun Vacation Part 3

Last month, our family headed down to Florida for an event-packed vacation filled with fun, family, and fashion. I’ve split up the recap into three posts, of which, this is the last.

Check out the first post here, and the second post here.

Miami – South Beach, specifically – holds a very special place in my heart. I briefly lived on South Beach in my early twenties, and it was the time of my life! I lived on the beach, surrounded by beautiful people, and fortunate enough to overlook the ocean everyday…it was pretty amazing. I can vividly recall a time when I saw a women with her son on the beach; I remember thinking about how I couldn’t wait for the day when I had my own child on the beach, just like her. It was as if I manifested this vision, because years later I did, in fact, experience this, and it felt wonderful being back with my family! Matteo has been to Miami a few times, but it was a first for Chase.

We chose to stay at the beautiful Fountaineblu Hotel. We’ve stayed there before, and we love how accommodating they are for families. The pool is massive with plenty of space for you to be comfortable. While the resort can be a “hotspot” for singles, parents and families certainly don’t stand out: there’s a section with a pool specifically for kids and plenty of family-friendly restaurants (but keep in mind, it can be pricey). The grounds are gorgeous and very well kept.
